Today something fun happened ! I was on my way home from a squash match and came walking down the hill when I caught sight of an old lady standing at a pedestrian crossing. The lady looked desperate and sought to attract attention of by-passers frantically waving her arms. I could not just ignore the poor lady and when I took a few steps in her direction, she said “please, can you help me cross the street?“. At first I thought it was a joke and that there was a hidden camera or something. Since it was a kid, it’s something you read about in magazines, which was always used as an example of good deed, but which I’ve NEVER seen happen. Of course, I handed up the arm and led the now very happy and grateful lady across the street. She thanked me at least 10 times, and wished me a Happy Easter as I continued home. Sometimes it’s easy to make someone else happy :)
