The dutch sure have a funny way of describing a coinflip. I’m pretty sure they also consider it a “suck out” that the queens held…. Maybe we should all move to Holland and play poker with the dutch?

Today poker was fun. Not only cause I did well, but also cause I actually played  Hold Em. 2 years away from that game was exactly what I needed to enjoy a game with only two cards again At first it felt really weird not having flopped a set on 3 tables at the same time and that people actually folded to a c-bet I have to watch out for misclicks tho, the “Bet Max” button is really dangerous for a player beeing used to PL It didn’t get any worse by the opponents beeing italian and allowed me to valuebet the 3rd pair time and time again

I also had a really funny conversation on msn with a friend, while he was railing me. After picking up a nice pot on a bluff and explained why it was succesful and they never can have anything, he answered:

My friend: exactly my thoughts
Me: don’t think so much, it never ends well
My friend: mmm…I’m always lucky when I think

Poker is not that I want right now. I guess you heard about variance? Have you played the PLO at some point, you have certainly known of it anyway:P Today, I lost a couple of really big pots when I got it in as 81% and 76% favorite. Buhu you’re probably thinking, that’s standard. Well, in PLO you rarely get it in better than 50/50 -65/35 so it’s really nice to get it in so good. Oh well, no point whining about it, better go buy a new computer instead…….
