Spent a great deal of this day with browsing different poker forums, hoping to find interesting threads and add new weapons to my PLO-arsenal. I’m not very active on forums, but I still visit them from time to time, but starting to wonder why I bother. Unfortunately I don’t thing you can learn a lot of the forums I’ve looked at. Either fish is posting bad beat stories or hands where they wanna brag about having made a hero call. Also many threads tend to get out of control with people arguing instead of helping the lost soul find the right path. A lot fo the time people are even rude and bumptious.

Do you have the same experience with forums? Don’t you agree at all and have good suggestions on where to find good PLO discussions? Or am I spot on and it’s time to close down all the forums?

Summers almost over and I’m just as pale and dirty as I was when it started. Thanks to the weather gods weird sense of humor I haven’t been able to sun bath or swim much in the ocean this summer. Pfft! But at least I’ve got to play some more poker. Not sure if that is a good thing? At least I’m winning more than I’m losing and for every day that pass I get rid of leaks. Hopefully I will only see green numbers in my results column again soon

Just finished up an hour of coaching. I really enjoy it, and will try to make more time for it in the fall.

For the rest of the afternoon there is no more poker, now I’m going to pick some cherries instead:)

Yeah you know how it is, beeing summer and all. Before I left the states I ran into this highly current magazine cover at the airport.

Foot note: A fish in poker is a bad player. Those of you who have been playing for a while know that just as in our oceans the fish stocks are decreasing every year. It’s about time the americans are allowed to play again…;)
