You smell like fish

When my wife left for woek this morning the following happened:

I get a kiss after which my wife says (probably as a hint that I got morning breath;P):

“Did you eat fish yesterday?”
“I eat fish every day, it’s my job, it’s wot I do”
was my reply.

My wife laughed, probably more at me than with me, and left for work ;)

Coaching 101

The last couple of weeks I might have started up a new career as a poker coach. After 6 years at the tables it’s about time I do something useful and share my experience. I had 2 classes so far and find it a lot of fun :) I get to confirm what I know and share this with somebody. Besides, if I get tough questions from my student(s) I might even find leaks of my own while teaching! Haven’t decided yet if it is something I will make something bigger out of or not, so far it’s just a fun side project :)

What to do in Vegas? part 4

Shop! Ok, shopping might also be considered a sin, but I’ll let it slide since it’s at least not the first sin that comes to mind when you mention Las Vegas.

If you wanna shop in Vegas there wont be enough time to browse stores. There are simply too many stores! My suggestion is that you start off at Fashion Show Mall. You can find everything here! Don’t forget to check out the department stores like Macys, Nieman & Marcus and Nordstroms. You can find a lot in there mens departments. Another favourite is Abercrombie & Fitch which have really comfy grind clothes.

If you couldn’t find what you were looking for there, no worries. Almost all hotels along the Strip has it’s own shopping street inside the hotel. Best is without a doubt the Forum Shops at Caesar’s Palace. There you will find everything from Victoria Secret to Fendi and D&G.

If you continue south on the strip you’ll see Planet Hollywood and their Miracle Mile shops. Another really good option if your VISA is burning a hole in your pocket. Hotels like Venetian/Palazzo and Bellagio also have good shopping, but slightly more upscale.

When you feel that the The Strip no longer has anything to offer I suggest you jump into a cap and go to Premium Outlets. Here there are lots of bargins to be made especially in the sports stores and my personal favourite, Ralph Lauren. Don’t forget to try the fudge:8

If you feel like shopping “off-Strip” I suggest The Boulevard mall which is located straight east from the Wynn. Another option is Meadows mall which is a little west of the norther parts of the Strip. The best option however is probably, Town Square, which I discovered last year in the good company of Johan StorÃ¥kers. It is a bit off strip but very nice and quiet and lots of stores. Well worth the trip!

Also don’t miss the worlds largest gift shop (in Vegas?), Bonanza!

Shop til you drop :)
