Today is the first day of the 2011 World Series of Poker. I really wish I was there to hear the words shuffle up and deal be announced and participate in the action. Unfortunately I’ll have to wait until the main event before diving in. It’s hard to motivate yourself to even go to Vegas at all during the summer considering how beautiful Sweden is that time of the year. One of these days I will make plans for a long summer in Vegas and play more events though. There’s always next year…

The article was unfortunately not the most interesting one and the answers given to the questions could have been answered by pretty much any winning poker player. Still it was nice to read and article which was no trying to sell on hype alone. Hopefully more articles like this one will follow, even more argumentative and analytical.

Just watched the last episode of High Stakes Poker season 7. There were some interesting spots, most of them including either Johnny Chan or Phil Galfond. Those guys can play! Is it only me or is Barry Greestein the most boring player ever on TV? Why do they let him play in a cash game like this and exclude Durrr? One thing is for sure, he has not been getting action in the high stakes games because he is a funny guy at the tables ;P Starting to regret ever buying his book….
